This Privacy Policy describes how Bosak Dev LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our apps and websites, including Sipp Local (collectively, the "Services").
Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address and any profile details you choose to add, such as a display name.
- Content you create. Saved shops, favorites, and any feedback or messages you send us.
- Business listing information. If you claim a coffee shop listing, we collect the business details you submit (such as shop name, hours, and photos) and information used to verify ownership.
Information collected automatically
- Location data. With your permission, our apps may use your device's location to show nearby coffee shops. You can disable location access at any time in your device's Settings; the app will still work, but nearby results will be unavailable.
- Usage and device data. Basic diagnostic and usage information — such as app version, device type, crash logs, and general interaction data — to keep the Services reliable and improve them.
How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Services
- To personalize your experience, such as saved shops and city preferences
- To verify and manage business listing claims
- To respond to support requests and feedback
- To monitor performance, diagnose crashes, and fix bugs
- To comply with legal obligations
What we don't do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not show third-party advertising in our apps.
- We do not use your data to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
How we share information
We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Services, and only as needed for them to do so:
- Google Firebase (Google LLC) — authentication, database, and hosting infrastructure. See Firebase's privacy documentation.
- Apple — App Store purchases and distribution are processed by Apple under its own terms and privacy policy.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or others.
Data retention and deletion
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. You can delete your account at any time from the app's settings screen, which removes your account and associated personal data from our systems. You may also request deletion by emailing trent@bosakdev.com.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address below and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Children's privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit and access controls — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
